The new Primark in Southend high street has now open doors to the public for the first time. The highly anticipated three-story Primark is opening in the former BHS building in a high street location.
The store is expected to showcase three floors of fashion and the latest trends in the women’s, men’s and children’s fashion collections. The customers will be able to shop for the new collection which includes products made from sustainable, recycled and organic materials.
The company stated that despite the upsetting pandemic the fashion chain is doing succeedingly well and is not concerned about the opening in these uncertain times.
Philippa Nibbs, the director of sales for the UK, stated that they were delighted to be opening their new Southern store in the high street and were looking forward to continuing to offer fashion at good prices to the people of southern and the surrounding areas.
She added that they were offering customers the newest and brightest shop fit. Customers are to be greeted with a range of safety and social precautions in place. The store will offer a wide range of products for every category.
Ms. Nibbs stated that after re-opening the store following the UK lockdown, customers are telling them affordable fashion is what they are looking for. She added that they have continued to grow their market share in the sustainable retail market that has given them the edge over other retailers.
The new Primark cares range has become a part of Primark’s latest initiative to be a committed and responsible retailer, by offering customers more products made using environmentally-friendly materials.
