Shima Seiki to put on display its latest in computerized flat knitting technology, , including the latest WHOLEGARMENT machines and design system at the Brazilian Textile Industry Fair (FEBRATEX 2016) to be this month. The exhibition will be a showcase for the company’s diverse line-up of its latest computerised flat knitting machines.
Also on show will be the new compact SWG-N2 series WHOLEGARMENT knitting machine which offers a wide variety of production options as well as the capability for producing industrial textiles. Elsewhere, the SRY123LP will be demonstrating a range of features including its pair of loop presser beds mounted above a conventional V-shaped needlebed. The result is a machine capable of producing novel knitwear with unique woven-like texture as well as technical textiles.
The new SVR workhorse series which is said to reset the industry benchmark once again for shaping machines in the tradition of Shima Seiki's renowned SES and SSG machines and the SFG and SFG-I glove knitting machines will also be on show.
Demonstrations will be performed on Shima Seiki’s SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system that is at the core of the company’s “Total Knitting System†concept. With comprehensive support of all aspects throughout the knit supply chain, APEX3 integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from yarn development, product planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.
Especially effective is APEX3’s capability to improve on the planning process with Virtual Sampling. Photo-realistic simulation capability minimizes the need for sample-making, effectively reducing time, material and cost from the sampling process.
The Shima Seiki booth can be found in Sector 01, Booth No. 46, 47, 48, 63, 64, 6 at FEBRATEX taking place from 9 - 12 August at the Parque Vila Germanica, Bairro Velha Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
