Seasalt, the U.K.-based clothing brand, has partnered with vintage retailer Beyond Retro to launch a limited-edition capsule collection made from repurposed denim. Each one-of-a-kind piece is crafted from pre-loved, post-consumer denim, reinforcing the brands’ commitment to reducing textile waste.
The collection features three of Seasalt’s most popular silhouettes: cropped jeans, a pinafore dress, and a workwear-style jacket inspired by the brand’s best-selling Reading Rocks jacket. Each garment is constructed in patchwork denim, giving discarded fabrics a new life while ensuring seasonless appeal.
“Beyond Retro has always been on our radar,” said Laura Watson, Chief Creative Officer at Seasalt. “Their ethos aligns directly with ours. We wanted to create a collection that is responsible, stylish, and true to both brands.”
The collaboration falls under Seasalt’s Creative Circularity initiative, which explores innovative ways to improve the environmental and social impact of its products. By using recycled, pre-washed denim, the collection bypasses traditional manufacturing and dyeing processes, significantly reducing its carbon footprint.
