Swiss textile manufacturer Schoeller Textile AG, is launching Re-Source- a new recycled textile collection that adheres to the highest quality, design, and current sustainability standards.

The Re-Source fabrics are ideal for use as workwear in urban settings and on the most strenuous mountain trips because they offer improved wearing comfort, durability, and weather protection. They also ensure the highest levels of performance. Moreover, Schoeller textile innovations have functionalized them to provide breathability, heat regulation, wind resistance, and water resistance.

The collection's fabrics are all created using bio-based, post-, and pre-consumer elements such as recycled polyester and elastane. Two of the materials are also lined with natural Nativa merino wool manufactured under the highest sustainability standards for maximum wear.

Using blockchain technology, the entire Nativa merino wool production process is completely transparent and traceable for consumers. Globally, Nativa farms adhere to strict social and ecological standards for animal welfare, sound land management, and moral work practices.

More textiles are based on the Q-Cycle method, which reduces CO2 emissions by pyrolyzing old tires to produce polyamide.

All Re-Source fabrics have received the bluesign certification, and Schoeller is dedicated to a code of conduct that ensures transparent supply chains, environmental preservation, and fair working conditions.

On March 15–16, 2023, in Munich, Germany, the new recycled textile line will be on display at the Performance Days textile market.
