Savio Macchine Tessili S.p.A., a leading Italian textile machinery manufacturer, has joined forces with the Recycling Atelier Augsburg as of September 2024. This collaboration focuses on enhancing the areas of winding and quality control of yarns, completing the mechanical textile recycling process chain, and unlocking new research possibilities.

As part of this partnership, Savio provides its Proxima Smartconer winder to the Recycling Atelier, emphasizing the importance of the winding process in ensuring yarn quality. The Recycling Atelier network comprises 12 industrial companies that collectively cover the entire process of mechanical textile recycling.
