Säntis, in collaboration with Italian yarn producer Marchi & Fildi, is showcasing a fully Italian-made knitwear collection at Pitti Filati in Florence from January 28 to 30. The collection has been designed by Biella students using RCO100 Cento, a 100% recycled cotton yarn.
Säntis’ proprietary RCO100 Refine Forward recycling technology transforms textile waste into high-quality recycled cotton, which can be spun into 100% cotton yarns with fine counts of up to Ne 30/1.
This innovative recycling process eliminates the use of water and chemicals while preserving the cotton’s natural molecular structure, ensuring the yarn retains an authentic cotton hand feel.
RCO100 recycled cotton yarns are available in open-end constructions and can also be blended with other preferred fibers, offering versatility for various textile applications.
