RUDOLF launches bio-based solutions in HYDROCOOL range

RUDOLF, a leading German specialty chemicals provider, has unveiled a significant advancement in textile technology by introducing bio-based solutions for its renowned HYDROCOOL® product line. This line is known for its exceptional moisture management capabilities, ensuring comfort and dryness for athletes and active individuals. The newly introduced RUCO®-PUR BIO SLB and FERAN® BIO ICR mark a groundbreaking development in textile chemistry, offering a combination of sustainability, performance, and longevity.

The bio-based raw materials bring about several benefits, including a reduced environmental impact by diminishing dependence on traditional petroleum-based raw materials. Additionally, the new bio-based formulations match the efficiency of traditional HYDROCOOL® products and offer superior wash resistance.

FERAN® BIO ICR, a bio-based soil release agent specially designed for polyester and its blends, is 87% eco-friendly, reinforcing RUDOLF’s commitment to sustainable innovation. RUCO-PUR BIO SLB, a bio-based finishing agent suitable for synthetics, cellulosics, and blends, boasts a remarkable 43% bio-based content, representing a significant stride towards a sustainable textile industry.
