Rudolf enhances digital pigment printing

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2024-11-21 16:18:06 – Germany

This week, German specialty chemicals manufacturer Rudolf introduced the Digital Pigment Printing Toolbox, a package of pre-treatment products designed to improve the quality and sustainability of pigment printing in the textile industry. This launch aligns with Rudolf’s mission to provide innovative solutions for in-demand needs within the sector.

Rudolf’s new toolbox delivers a customizable solution that balances high-quality printing with minimal resource use. It features pre-treatment products that achieve brilliant colors and enhanced fabric texture, without using harmful chemicals. The package is free from formaldehyde, butanone oxime, and some blocking agents, ensuring safer and more sustainable textile processing.

The core of the toolbox is RUCO-Print PXS, a versatile product that can be mixed with other pre-treatments from the toolbox to achieve desired effects like improved rub fastness, vibrant color, and a soft fabric feel. This flexibility allows textile manufacturers to create tailored pre-treatment solutions that meet specific performance requirements.

Dr. Christoph Hauser, Rudolf's product developer, emphasized that this toolbox sets the foundation for future advancements in digital pigment printing. “Our goal at Rudolf is to take digital print to the next level—making it more efficient, environmentally friendly, and optimizable for a wide range of customer requirements,” he stated.
