Replay launches ‘double green’ collection in collaboration with ISKO

Replay, an Italian fashion company launches its new denim fabric in collaboration with the fabric manufacturer ISKO. The newly launched denim has been deemed ‘double green’.

The Hyperflex Re-used material blends lower impact raw materials with respect to both reused cotton and recycled polyester. This has authorized the brand to tag it under the ‘double green’ claim.

The wasted cotton fibers that are normally lost at the spinning stage make up about 10% of the fabric, while the recycled polyester has been created out of PET bottles and other wastes. The collection launched by Replay consists of both skinny and straight cut jeans for men and women. The new material is estimated to rattle at £150 (US$196) per pair.

Replay stated that the new material has reinforced its focus on suitability and has met the most stringent internationally-recognized eco-friendly standards.

With the new launch in place, the company has taken new steps forward towards broad and consistent projects that affect all stages of the production process.

Replay stated that the goal was to create a unique product to further advance into the sustainability cycle that would reconfirm Replay and ISKO as innovators in the sector.

ISKO claims to be the world’s largest manufacturer of denim. They produce over 250 million meters of fabric a year for customers in more than 60 countries in Turkey.
