ReHubs, a European hub focused on textile-to-textile recycling, is teaming up with event organizer AMI to launch the Textiles Recycling Expo. Scheduled for June 2025, in Brussels, Belgium, the event aims to address the growing challenges of textile waste. AMI’s expertise in event management, combined with ReHubs’ dedication to circularity, will provide a comprehensive platform to advance recycling efforts in the textile industry.
The Textiles Recycling Expo will feature top exhibitors and showcase the latest innovations in textile waste management. Among the companies participating are Circle-8 Textile Ecosystems, Clooseoop (a division of DBT Fibre), Coleo, Andritz, Carbios, Dell’Orco & Villani, Stadler, Tomra, and Valvan.
A central focus of the expo will be on the automation of textile waste sorting. In addition to exhibits, the event will host a high-level conference where industry experts, innovators, and stakeholders will discuss current trends and share insights on the future of textile recycling. Chris Deloof, ReHubs’ executive director, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the opportunity it presents for industry-wide impact.
AMI is leveraging its experience from the Plastics Recycling World Expos to create a similar initiative for textiles, aiming to establish the Textiles Recycling Expo as a leading European platform for advancing recycling efforts.
