REICONICS
Recover™, Evlox, and Jeanologia are set to showcase their latest creation, the REICONICS recycled denim capsule collection, at Denim Première Vision in Milan. This collaborative project leverages the expertise of each company to enhance circularity in the denim industry, covering the entire process from fiber to the finished product.
The REICONICS collection, made from Recover™ recycled cotton fiber and Spanish cotton, is GRS certified. It pays homage to classic denim fabrics that have been successful over the years. The collection includes premium denim fabrics developed by Evlox and a total of 14 final garments. Each piece in the collection showcases various finishes achieved through Jeanologia’s technology, which reduces water and energy consumption while eliminating damaging emissions and discharge.
One remarkable aspect of the REICONICS collection is its positive environmental impact. For example, a single jacket in the collection, incorporating 32% Recover™ recycled fiber and Jeanologia finishing technology, can save up to 760 liters of water. This is a significant reduction compared to a jacket made with virgin cotton and treated using traditional finishing techniques.
Alfredo Ferre, CEO at Recover™, expressed pride in being part of the groundbreaking REICONICS collection. He emphasized its role in paving the way toward a more sustainable future by offering brands a pathway to reduce their environmental impact caused by raw material production and waste.
Francisco Ortega, Evlox R&D Director, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the collaboration’s role in making circular fashion accessible without compromising denim heritage.
Enrique Silla, CEO at Jeanologia, expressed pride in working with Recover and Evlox as partners to redefine the future of blue jeans. He emphasized that the REICONICS Collection represents an inflection point where technology, innovation, creativity, circularity, and sustainability are crucial for success.
