Recommerce platform provider, Trove, said its technology is now being used by 700 brick and mortar stores throughout the US.
The achievement comes after the introduction of new brand partners, including Patagonia, Lululemon, Eileen Fisher, Arc'teryx, and REI, who have included the tech company's technology in their product line during the last year.
The company's CEO, Gayle Tait, said that the recommerce sector continues to be one of the fastest expanding retail areas, spurred by customers' demand for more sustainable and economical purchasing alternatives.
Tait added that in-store trade-in programs enable companies to strengthen their consumer connections in real-time and produce significantly more loyalty and lifetime value over the longer term. They’re really delighted to help their expanding list of brand partners expand their recommerce businesses through easy in-store trade-in and increase the useful life of their items.
The company claims that throughout the course of the year, its clientele increased by more than a third, and many of those businesses want to extend their resale programs with Trove in 2022.
