Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park’s design getting approval

Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park Project a state-of-the-art project which has been visualised as a milestone in the development of textile and garments sector, its initial design of the master plan was approved at a high level meeting presided over by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif yesterday.

The chief minister in the meeting reprimanded the authorities concerned over delay in some matters and said that every moment is important with regard to the project. He said that he only wants work and those showing lethargy have no right to stay on their posts. As the project will not only result in job opportunities but also help in develop quality skilled manpower for textile and garment sector.

The Punjab government has allocated 1567 acres land for this mega project and it will also house a labour colony, textile institute, commercial center, exhibition center and a hospital.

He said that the construction of boundary wall and other work should be completed at early as possible and Provincial Minister for Labour and Minister for Industry should personally supervise the performance of concerned departments as well as the pace of the project.

Punjab government is also setting up a modern technical center in the park. Also best facilities will be provided to industrialists and investors in Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park project having investment of billions of rupees will accelerate the process of industrialisation.

Meanwhile, a delegation of foreign investors associated with energy sector met Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here yesterday and expressed interest in setting up a solar project based on modern technology in the province. He welcomed the interest shown in power generation project through modern solar panels and assured that Punjab government will provide all out facilities for this purpose.
