Qatar International Fashion Festival (QIFF) aims to help Pakistan’s talented designers in a mission to explore this new market and to make a platform where people can come and display their products and talent.

Sana Salman, a known designer in the fashion industry for half a decade is the brainchild of. QIFF. Sana who formed her own label Saanaz in 2010, Sana has collaborated with a lot of major names of the fashion industry and has successfully showcased them in Doha.

Doha is the second richest country in the world as per its GDP, with a population of 2.2 million people. With South Asians being more than 1 million, there is a natural interest and demand for textile & fashion products

Designers Fashion Lounge (DFL) holds the privilege to host the first Designers Fashion show in Doha hosted in 2011. Along with being the official retailer of many top brands including Sana Safinaz, Needlez by Shalimar, Adnan Pardesy, Waseem Noor, Labels, and Hamna Amir, their main motive is to establish the softer side of Pakistan and to promote the fashion industry on a bigger scale to Qatari Market.

The designers participating at the QIFF this year include Asim Jofa, Adnan Pardesy, Goal, Hamna Amir, Shazia’s bridal gallery, Umer Sayyed, Umsha Couture and Waseem Noor

Pakistani Supermodels Fouzia Aman & Rizwan Ali along with celebrities from Pakistan will be participating in the festival.

The fashion shows will be followed by an exhibition of 15 designers, to be scheduled on 20th March at Sheraton Hotel where top VIPs’ from the state of Qatar will attend along with his Excellency Ambassador of Pakistan.

Asim Jofa will be opening the festival & Umar Sayeed will be closing. The QIFF 2015 will be held on March 19th and 20th at the Sheraton Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
