PurFi Global, a leader in textile rejuvenation technology, and its joint venture partner, Arvind Limited, a renowned name in textile manufacturing, have announced plans to significantly scale up manufacturing operations. This initiative aims to support the sustainability goals of leading global fashion and design companies.
The joint venture, PurFi Arvind Manufacturing India (PAMI), will establish a cutting-edge textile circularity facility in Gujarat, India. The facility will begin operations with an annual capacity of 3,500 metric tons, alongside a secondary line with a 5,500-ton capacity of rejuvenated fiber. Through our U.S. manufacturing sites and our joint venture in Belgium, we’ve established ourselves as global leaders in textile upcycling.”
Punit Lalbhai, Vice Chairman of Arvind Limited, highlighted, “Both organizations share a commitment to addressing the critical issue of textile waste while advancing sustainability goals. This partnership offers an innovative solution to tackle textile waste and aligns with our ethos of being ‘Fundamentally Right.’ Using PurFi’s ground-breaking technologies, we aim to drive growth in textile manufacturing while reducing environmental impact.
