Hedrick and Schroeder join Geri Wetmore, SVP of sales and chief sales officer, and Lucia Fitzgerald, SVP of merchandising, product development and marketing, to form the senior leadership team. Perfect Fit Industries designs and imports utility bedding, warming bedding and throws, and furniture covers and protectors. Its brands include BedSack, Wellrest, Soft Heat, Invisiwire and Pure Sleep as well as licensed products under the Serta and Therapedic brands.

Ken Hedrick joins the company as chief executive officer. He was previously COO at Excell/Croscill and CEO of TexStyle LLC. His 25 years of experience in home textiles started at Fieldcrest in 1994. He has since moved between sales, product management and operations.

Hedrick, who reports to the board of directors said that, “PFI has the basis for a strong company that can be agile and nimble in a changing marketplace.”

In addition, Jay Schroeder joined PFI in October as SVP Finance and CFO. He has spent more than 30 years in accounting and finance, most recently at ATP Automotive, an importer of aftermarket auto parts with similar retail and online distribution to that of PFI. In addition to day-to-day financial issues, he is tasked with upgrading the company’s financial management systems.
