While countless outdoor brands around the world closed their bricks-and-mortar stores to help prevent the spread of covid-19, Patagonia made the decision to also close its online business on March 13. Now, as of April 21, the company’s online presence is once again open for business.
“One month ago, we closed our retail stores and distribution centers for the health and safety of our employees and customers,” the company said on its website. “After much consultation and a lot of hard work, we’re pleased to announce patagonia.com is back in business.”
The company is not yet reopening its retail stores or repair services, but it encouraged customers to use the brand’s DIY repair guides online for the time being.
