Techtextil and Texprocess, the leading international trade fairs in the fields of technical textiles, nonwovens, and processing of textile and flexible materials, began yesterday in Frankfurt. About 100 Pakistani trade visitors from textile sector are going to visit the four-day Techtextil Frankfurt and Texprocess exhibition.

Techtextil and Texprocess offer the world’s largest range of innovative materials and cutting edge technologies. The entire textile value added chain from fibres to logistics is represented in Frankfurt, commented Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt.

There will be a total of 1,389 exhibitors from 52 countries, an increase of 4.4% compared to the last time the event was held. -

According to Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s leading trade show organisers based in Frankfurt, the two trade shows will attract a total of 1,662 exhibitors from 54 countries. It will set a new record number of exhibitors to reinforce its position as the leading international trade fair in this highly innovative sector.

Pakistani companies that are going to participate include Minhaj International, Escorts International, Huqas Corporation, iTextiles Private Limited, Master Textile Mills Limited and Sapphire Finishing Mills.

The exhibitors will also organize seminars to discuss new market developments, technological information, new technical processes and products, as well as international industry trends.

The 13th Techtextil Innovation Award recognizes eight outstanding developments in the sector, while the student competition Textile Structures for New Building will also take place for the 13th time.
