Aware x Outerknown
Blockchain-based traceability platform Aware has teamed up with sustainable clothing brand Outerknown to release its first traceable product, a men’s blanket shirt. Outerknown plans to integrate Aware’s technology into its future collections, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
The blanket shirt, one of Outerknown’s best-selling products, is made from organic cotton and reflects the company’s focus on fair labor practices and environmental responsibility.
Aware’s technology makes the entire production process of the shirt fully traceable, allowing customers to see every stage, from raw material to the finished product. The traceable version of the shirt is now available online and at Outerknown’s eight retail stores in the US.
“We’re excited to partner with Aware to bring traceability to life,” said Dylan Slater, CEO of Outerknown. “With Aware’s technology, we can offer our customers full transparency into the garment’s journey, enabling them to make choices that align with their values.”
