Officina39, an Italian chemical expert that provides solutions for the textile, apparel, and denim industries, recently took part in ITMA, the international textile machines trade show that will be held in Milan Rho-Fiera Pole from June 8 to June 14, 2023.

The company is active in developing numerous new sustainable practices while producing projects committed to offering clear information, openness, and social responsibility. They are inspired by Italian craft tradition and inventiveness.

Along with Recycrom Pure, they also introduced Recycrom Ready to Dye, a development that is currently offered in a variety of 15 standard ready-in-stock colors and is made from at least 65% recycled textile pre- and post-consumer materials. It allows for the creation of trendy dyes and colorations for use on cotton, wool, nylon, and other cellulosic and natural fibers and blends. They can get enough Recycrom Ready to Dye from recycling 100 kg of textile waste to color 20,000 T-shirts.

Officina39 offered several brand-new environmentally friendly solutions in this context. Among other innovations, it introduced the Ecobinder R Series, a brand-new recycled binder made from laminated glass. This new item is created entirely from post-consumer recycled polymer that is obtained from the recycling of windscreens and other safety glass products.

The latest innovation is a powder that, without using pumice stone or water, can create indigo and black denim "stone wash effects" in a standard machine at room temperature.

In addition to significantly reducing consumption, this method also produces 90% less sludge than pumice stone and has no negative effects on machinery.

The company has also created a brand-new product called Easyndigo, which can be used to dye indigo clothing. It can be used in conventional washing machines, operates at low temperatures, ensures a true blue hue, and offers good contrast effects, an even appearance, and is easily reproducible.
