OCEANIA introduces ECO, their latest footwear line devoted to environmental sustainability. Oceania has brought flair into sustainability by drawing inspiration from Puerto Rico's culture, lush evergreen scenery, and the magnificent blues of the Caribbean. ECO is derived from the company's desire to go green in the footwear business through reuse.

Because undesirable produced materials are frequently discarded, levels of water pollution and carbon emissions rise, negatively impacting the surrounding ocean and ecosystem that inspire our brand. The collection is built on the idea of limiting the damage done to our world and laying the groundwork for others to follow in lessening the industry's pollution footprint. The shoes are created in Spain using 100% recyclable materials such as Recy-tex organic cotton and shock-absorbing insoles made from recycled foam and wine corks.

Oceania exhibits the three pillars that rectify ECO’s purpose. These three pillars are: E stands for Environmental Awareness, C is for Corporate Responsibility, and O stands for Ode to Sustainability.

Antonio Perez, Brand Manager for Oceania, said that their objective in releasing the ECO collection is to enter a new chapter of sustainable business practices in order to lessen their environmental imprint.
