OCCI take part in Arab-Turkish Forum to enhance trade exchange

Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), participates in the opening ceremony of the three day Arab-Turkish Forum for Readymade Garments Leather and Textiles Technology Industries organized by the Arab-Turkish Businessmen Society in collaboration with the Turkish Ministry of Economy, in the Turkish city of Izmir.

Dr. Salim bin Salayum al-Junaibi, OCCI Board Member and OCCI Head in Al Wusta Governorate, Head of the Omani delegation speaking on behalf of the Arab Chambers of Commerce in the forum highlighted the trade relations between the Arab countries and the Republic of Turkey over the years. The trade exchange is growing and prospering among the Arab countries and the Republic of Turkey.

Al-Junaibi pointed out that mutual investment and joint trade between the Arab countries and Turkey serve the benefit of both sides and enhance their competitiveness in the global markets, which make it financially and productively efficient partnership.

This meeting aims to promote trade exchange between the Arab countries and Turkey in all fields and various industries, hoping that this forum would come up with business deals that contribute to raising the trade balance, serving the interests of the economy of the two sides and enhancing the capacities of businessmen, businesswomen and investors.

The forum includes an economic seminar on the investment environment, trade and economic partnerships between the Arab countries and Turkey. The forum will also include holding the Arab-Turkish bilateral meetings among businessmen.

The exhibition associated with the forum was opened has a large group of Turkish companies specialized in garment, leather, and textiles technology industries.
