Naue has introduced GlacierProtect, a new and innovative solution designed to help safeguard glaciers and preserve snow in ski resorts. This development comes in support of the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation 2025, highlighting Naue’s strong commitment to protecting the environment.

GlacierProtect is an eco-friendly geotextile created by the Naue Group, aimed at slowing down the melting of glaciers and snow caused by climate change. Made with Naue Secutex Green, a nonwoven fabric derived entirely from renewable and biodegradable materials, GlacierProtect helps lower surface temperatures by reflecting 75% of sunlight, effectively reducing ice melt.

This strong yet easy-to-use material is well-suited for use in high mountain regions. Beyond preserving glaciers, it also helps maintain water supplies and supports the balance of local ecosystems. GlacierProtect is especially valued for its three key features, it is biodegradable, reusable, and aids in conserving snow, making it both efficient and environmentally responsible.
