The exposition was inaugurated by Tollywood actress Mamatha Rahoot, Pancha mukhi movie fame. During the lauch of the expo Mamatha said that such platforms are required to reach out to women looking for well-designed handmade cotton wear and silk wear and exclusive home textile which blend different styles and concepts of silk handloom.
The organizer of the expo, Jayesh Kuma said that through these exhibitions, they have been able to create good market for the weavers and their handloom woven ware, even in places where exhibitions are not feasible.
