Germany-based high-end sustainable sneaker brand nat-2™ has developed vegan sneakers made from real recycled bubble wrap in collaboration with Israel-based material inventor remeant ®. The bubble wrap material is 100% vegan and stands out for its wide range of shades, magnificent colors, and textures.
The designers turn waste materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or polluting the seas into beautiful, extremely valuable, and sustainable fabrics, adding an exceptional and one-of-a-kind touch to the process.
The vegan sleek low style by nat-2™ is constructed from real recycled bubble wrap, which not only gives each pair a distinctive design but also makes the upper section of the shoe waterproof.
The lining is composed of nat-2™'s unique bioceramic ® yarn, which is comprised of ceramic fibers and real silver yarn and provides anti-bacterial and climate-regulating properties, as well as a pleasant and timeless clean appearance.
Real cork is used in the detachable insole, and real rubber is used in the laser-cut outsoles. The shoe's laces are made of recycled PET, and the reflective heel is comprised of billions of actual glass particles. The genderless shoes are made in Italy by hand in a fair manner.
The material used for bubble wrap is constructed of remeant®, a revolutionary material created by the creators Elinor and alon Nathaniel. It is made of single-use plastic and is a solution for many types of non-biodegradable waste. The Israeli start-up developed a patented manufacturing method that ensures the product's quality, making it highly durable, waterproof, simple to clean and lightweight.
