Mohit Industries Limited, a leading Indian manufacturer of fabrics and texturised yarn has received sanction for a term loan of ₹18 crore to fund its expansion plans at its existing unit at Kim, near Surat.
The total project cost of the expansion is ₹24 crore. Construction work for the first phase will be completed by end of this month and installation of machinery is expected by next month. The company plans to install eight texturising machines in a new building at its 2.5 lakh sq ft facility in Kim.
Following this expansion, the company’s polyester draw texturised yarn capacity shall increase by approximately 50 percent from 21000 MT to 30,000 MT.
Mohit Industries established in 1991 as a family business, today has annual production capacity of 18,000 mt of texturised yarn and 9 million metres of art silk cloth.
Currently Mohit Industries has its yarn texturising plants at KIM and Umargam. They use the latest machinery and the best resources to make top quality yarns and fabrics.
