M&J Group comes back to Denim Premiere Vision to boost its strategic presence in Europe

The French denim exhibition, chosen as ideal platform by the Bengali garment-maker, increasingly targeting its efforts towards a top-of-the-range proposal for the old continent: this strategy is showcased in the exclusive workshop “Making patterns: a tale of excellence” in collaboration with Alessio Berto from The Tailor Pattern Support

Paris, 14 November 2017 – M&J Group “comes back”. The leading company in garment-making at world level, which boosts long-standing prestigious partnerships with H&M, G-Star Raw and Jack & Jones to name but a few, for the second time has chosen to take part in the great Denim Première Vision jeans exhibition, in order to consolidate its own strategy in Europe and present its important novelties for the SS 2019 collection.

The company’s strategy aims at achieving a still unheard-of combination for major garment maker in South-East Asia, namely a high technology and expertise value in terms of processing, which is becoming increasingly technological on the one hand, and the unmatched creativity of the best Italian tradition in fashion on the other side. This has led to an initiative in collaboration with Alessio Berto from The Tailor Pattern Support, one of the most prestigious pattern makers worldwide. M&J Group will bring to the French exhibition the result of this unique contamination in the “Making patterns: a tale of excellence. Creativity, technique and authenticity to reinvent premium denim”, which will be held at the M&J Group stand on 14 November at 4.45 pm.

This event highlights the extraordinary range produced by M&J Group for the French show. There are indeed many novelties, in terms of product and “green” manufacturing implementation, which the Bengali corporation will display at Denim Première Vision to show its vision of the future and gain a foothold on European markets, but not only. The aim is also to consolidate penetration in the most important Asian scenarios, China and India, where companies, over the past few years, have shown great interest in the Paris trade fair. Europe, China and India are thus the focus of attention for M&J Group, with a new strategic proposal centered around an increasingly top-of-the-range high quality product, thanks to the extraordinary support of Italian research and development.

The R&D department, with Fabio Adami Dalla Val as R&D Head and Trade Marketing Manager for the Group, has developed some very interesting state-of-the-art collection innovations with which M&J Group aims at strengthening its presence. The new proposal thus results in unheard-of green innovations for the SS 2019 season, combined with the latest implementations of the START TO MEASUREâ„¢ resource monitoring system, a fact-checker specific for sustainable change in finishing which the garment-maker has fine-tuned after years of research. This dual track has sustainable innovation and quality productions running in parallel to produce novelties for the new season.

THINK IT*, MAKE IT: “eco” quality and vision for the SS 2019 season: The new M&J Group proposal showcased at Denim Premiere Vision is characterized by attention to detail and search for perfection by means of shapes and colors taken to the extreme. In the THINK IT*, MAKE IT collection for the SS 2019 season, conventional for the first time migrates towards perfect execution resulting in garments which are basic but highly recognizable and definitely not “throw-away”.

The new extremes in implementation perfection, combined with a new concept of luxury to be shown stylishly, meet creating a range which is purpose-designed for a market which is vast, heterogeneous and sensitive to product quality, as well as to sustainability, an ingrained approach in the M&J Group production vision.

These products are designed for a market which takes into account both the “Z Generation” and “Millennials”, searching for culturally significant products which express real values, in the same way as the “Bit Generation” is increasingly oriented towards cutting-edge quality products.

Aesthetics and technology are combined to create new shapes, dimensions and eco-sustainable visions. New cutting and tailoring system meet laser printing, embroideries and flocking developed in multiple layers and new shapes, resulting in material tonalities which reach down to the core and do not end on the visible surface.

Details become the bright fulcrum which adds value to denim canvas, selected from among the best manufacturers. The natural and metal-colored motifs with laser technology produce colors which burst out of the canvas to create soft textures, new details to complete raw denim and transparent patchworks, all with a “glossy pink” guiding thread.

THE WORKSHOP “Making patterns: a tale of excellence. Creativity, technique and authenticity to reinvent premium denim”.

An unmissable moment for training and information, in collaboration with Alessio Berto from The Tailor Patter Support, in a workshop which displays the special “Military Work Pants Reload” capsule collection, produced in collaboration with M&J Group to describe the journey which led to the design and production of unique garments, which emphasize the traditional and crucial work of “pattern making” for the fashion and denim industry, combined with the inimitable M&J Group expertise and technology. This collaboration highlights the added value of “pattern making” to create high quality products based on tradition to reinvent fashion starting from its origins.

“Our goal is clear:” concludes Fabio Adami Dalla Val, R&D Head and Trade Marketing Manager at M&J Group – “focus on the extraordinary expertise which only Italian R&D is able to offer and have new product lines which perfectly integrates high quality items with increasingly cutting-edge “green” innovations”.
