Mimaki Europe has introduced two new direct-to-textile printers, the Tx330-1800 and Tx330-1800B, expanding its Tx330 Series with advanced capabilities to print on various textiles while reducing environmental impact. These new models aim to produce minimal wastewater and offer an efficient solution for textile printing in limited spaces.
Unlike traditional textile printing methods that require several pre- and post-processing steps and bulky equipment, the Tx330 Series simplifies the process, making it more compact and easier to manage for businesses with space constraints.
Both models feature a dual ink system, allowing users to easily switch between textile pigment inks and dye sublimation inks. This flexibility opens up more possibilities for different types of applications. Compared to traditional dye-based inks, these inks allow for simpler printing with just heat fixation, removing the need for complex water supply and waste systems.
The Tx330-1800 can print directly on fabric and paper using the same machine, which is ideal for creating textile signage and decorative fabrics. The Tx330-1800B, on the other hand, includes a belt conveyor system that allows for stable printing on stretchable, thick, or thin materials.
Arjen Evertse, EMEA General Sales Manager at Mimaki Europe, said, “We expect the demand for locally produced, on-demand textile products to continue rising. These two new printers are designed to be user-friendly, versatile, and sustainable—perfect for those wanting to add textile printing capabilities without needing a large area, while still maintaining high quality.”
