EcoVadis is a reputable source of corporate sustainability ratings, including in-depth analysis of environmental, social, and ethical factors for more than 200 different purchase categories and 160 different nations. According to EcoVadis' ratings of more than 90,000 enterprises, Milliken ranks in the top 7%.

Using a methodology based on international sustainability standards like the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, EcoVadis evaluates sustainability policies, actions, and results in four main themes — environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The score and subsequent gold grade for Milliken represent the company's efforts throughout its entire textile, chemical, floor covering, and healthcare industries because its performance is evaluated at the enterprise level.
