Maaree and Ashmei launches eco-friendly sports bra

Women’s sports performance clothing brand Maaree, has partnered with a sustainable cycling equipment manufacturer, Ashmei, on a limited-edition sports bra.

Maaree’s first collaboration, the daily Maaree x Ashmei empower sports bra, was created to promote both brands’ “similar preoccupation with performance and sustainability” while providing medium-impact support for women.

The bra comes in an army green color that pays homage to both urban and rural outdoor environments. It has a novel slot and snap clasp, a comfortable racerback strap, and a fully elastic body composed of non-stretch fabric to assist prevent motion when carrying out any form of exercise.

With a curved panel running over the top of the breasts to provide extra support, the integrated Overband Technology, which Maaree describes as “game-changing,” has been engineered to drastically limit upward and downward motion.

The sports bra is also manufactured entirely of post-consumer plastic bottles and recycled Econyl regenerated nylon fabric, which is both soft and durable. The Maaree x Ashmei empower sports bra is available in sizes XS-XL and costs 49 pounds.
