The Lycra Company is expected to debut its latest innovation, Lycra Anti-Slip Fiber in the Kingpins24-Amsterdam online event. The event this year will presume online despite the pandemic and will go on to cover different theme impacts of the global denim industry such as Inspiration, Innovation, Fibers and Raw Materials and People and Social.
The Lycra representatives of the event are expected to play a key role. The newly appointed Chief Innovation Officer, Steve Stewart, will explain the company’s innovation process. The company is all set to present its latest Anti-Slip fiber which is a new denim seam slippage solution for applications in single-core spandex fabrics that need durable stretch and good recovery power. The new patent-pending fiber aids maintain the garment aesthetic wash. The utilization of Lycra Anti-Slip fiber is at the core of Lycra dualFX technology to further enhance the anti-slip experience. Merging Lycra Anti-Slip fiber and LycraT400 fiber not only delivers stretch but also ensures anti-slippage properties with excellent recovery powers. The jeans produced using this technology will maintain fit and shape ensuring customer satisfaction.
Julien Born and Jean Hegedus, the Sustainable Business Development Directors will present a discussion on the process of how the Lycra Company designs technology solutions for the circular economy. Hegedus will emphasize the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance commitment through ESG standards by utilizing Planet Agenda to drive competitive advantage.
