Lotus Indah Textile Industries goes dynamic on industrial and speciality yarn sectors

The company acknowledges it’s success to its boutique shop approach, loyal client base, diverse and functional product mix, and an energetic team. The company is continuously inviting partnerships from value chain users who seek reliable and quality producers to tie up their supply chain.

The company focuses on polyester spun yarn for industrial hoses, conveyor belts, filter fabrics, ropes and bag closing threads, and has a very strong existence across the globe in all the above segments.

“We are very strong in industrial yarn, which remains our focus area for growth,” says president and director Arvind Gupta. “In fact, of the 24,000 tonnes per year that we produce, more than 50 per cent is dedicated to industrial yarn.”

He adds that, “In the next five years, we plan to double our capacity, expand our product portfolio by foraying into various high-end applications, and become a visible brand in at least 50 countries globally.”

In response to stringent safety regulations in Europe and the United States in incorporating fire retardant components, the company has made an aggressive entry into this product.

The company is also working to penetrate deeper into the safety and hygiene segment with products such as antibacterial, ultraviolet and Meta Aramids.

Having relocated its factory to Nganjuk, Lotus Indah Textile Industries is sketching it’s growth through modernisation, amplified manufacturing capacity and by entering new business sectors.

Taking pride in competitive labour costs, the relocated factory will allow Indonesia’s top producer of synthetic spun yarn for industrial applications to ramp up its production capacity by 20 per cent in the next two years. The new plant has allowed the Tolaram Group subsidiary to shrink overhead cost and raise export sales globally.
