Lenzing Group has introduced LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose with REFIBRA™ technology as a solution to reduce the environmental impact of textile production. This technology incorporates a minimum of 20 percent recycled material sourced from pre- and post-consumer textile waste, alongside wood-based raw materials.

REFIBRA technology is designed to support the fashion industry’s shift towards circularity. By integrating recycled content into the efficient production process of standard LENZING ECOVERO fibers, the technology helps reduce the dependency on virgin raw materials and promotes a more sustainable value chain.

Despite the inclusion of recycled content, the quality of LENZING ECOVERO Viscose remains consistent. The technology enables circular design innovations, encouraging businesses to explore new ways to reuse post-consumer textile waste.

Lenzing showcased the REFIBRA technology applied to LENZING ECOVERO Viscose at various trade shows last year, highlighting its commitment to advancing circularity in the textile industry.
