L'Autre Sac, a Barcelona-based company, has just released a minimalist bag unlike any other. The heavy-duty material looks and sounds like real leather but is made from a Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) resin sourced from recycled car glass.

Every Rosa Bag is made from one pound of recycled car glass sourced from landfills, according to the company. Each bag saves 9.7 gallons of water and emits very little carbon dioxide by upcycling existing materials rather than using raw materials.

The Rosa Bag is built for flexibility and effortlessly chic and is handcrafted in a workshop in Spain using traditional techniques. The ideal everyday pack, thanks to its internal compartments and clever design, you can easily access essentials like your car keys and phone. It can be worn as a crossbody, backpack, or shoulder bag.

This functional vegan bag is made to last, with a carrying capacity of 20 pounds, and is waterproof, stain-resistant, and scratch-resistant.

In addition, the brand donates 10% of its income to support young women in Bogota, Colombia, gaining access to education programs that help them improve leadership skills.
