Italian-based luxury fashion resale platform, Lampoo, has launched a store on London’s King’s Road, providing verified second-hand products from fashion houses including Chanel, Gucci, Balenciaga, and Dior.
The store, which spans two levels and 1,399 square feet, is designed around a sharp contrast of cool and futuristic, blended with a traditional and timeless look. The store is a flowing environment with a variety of colors, materials, and textures, aiming to give the sensation of a second-hand clothes shop while being united into one elevated collection with a premium look.
Enrico Trombini, Founder & CEO of Lampoo, said that because the United Kingdom has the greatest luxury fashion market in Europe, it was only logical for them to begin their international expansion here. Given the breadth of services they provide both online and offline, London will be an ideal location for Lampoo. Their significant presence in London, as well as their offices that welcome their tech, marketing, and customer service employees, lets them get ‘closer’ to Europe’s largest and most active VC market.
Lampoo, the first premium secondhand store to open on King’s Road, offers a more conscientious approach to shop. Customers may obtain in-store assistance from professionals, and the service is touted as “on par with the world’s greatest luxury boutiques.”
The store allows customers to buy and sell pre-loved luxury items, and it also serves as a drop-off location for unwanted designer things. Customers can schedule selling sessions to assist with the valuation of valuable things such as bags and fine jewelry.
Sellers on Lampoo pay a £20 concierge charge and receive 70% – 100% of the sale price on their things. Lampoo has also expanded its list of most coveted bag labels from 10 to 28 designers, with payment made immediately rather than waiting for the item to sell.

The King’s Road has always been at the vanguard of cultural change, from its beginnings as a riverside retreat for London’s bohemian population to the boutique revolution that saw Mary Quant and Vivienne Westwood’s experiential retail flourish.
