Textile conglomerate Raymond has place largest bulk order worth over Rs2 crores with the the Khadi and Village Industries Commission ( KVIC) for the supply of 98000 metres of khadi fabric. This is a major boost for Khadi.

After joint visits, Raymond has selected various clusters from Gujarat, Rajasthan and other places to procure grey and finished Khadi fabric .

Raymond will be providing design inputs to create high end designer wears using Khadi fabric.

Earlier in the months of January and February, Raymond took more than 6000 meters of various different fabrics from KVIC for testing and sampling..
