Swedish mountaineering brand Klättermusen has moved its warehousing location from Borås, Sweden, to the Netherlands. The company has also signed a third-party logistics (3PL) agreement with DSV Solutions, which now operates from the new location in s'Heerenberg.
The Netherlands is said to offer “optimal geographic location to serve global customers” from which the company can “expand the current capacity in alignment with growing demand”, according to a statement. Klättermusen said it chose DSV Solutions because of the company’s in-house knowledge and experience within the outdoor industry.
“DSV’s operational capabilities, including increased visibility and scalable logistics solutions, allows us to deliver an enhanced customer experience as well as facilitate our strategic milestones,” said Rickard Westling, head of operations at Klättermusen. He added that the warehouse is powered by solar panels, helping the company minimise its environmental footprint.
