Processing capacity will also need to increase its present capacity, with additional 30,500 Mn.Meters of fabric processing capacity required by 2020. 1.20 Million additional sewing machines would be required to be installed in garment sector by 2020 to cater to the high export and domestic demand for apparel in India.
