Swedish footwear brand Kanso is introducing the Dragonfly, a high-performance shoe designed specifically for indoor sports like handball, volleyball, and badminton. It features patented NexX4 technology, developed by JV International in Verona, Italy. Unlike traditional shoe-making methods, NexX4 starts with the sole first, redefining how shoes are conceived, designed, and produced.

NexX4 technology enables the creation of ultra-thin soles that are 50% lighter than traditional rubber while maintaining exceptional durability and performance. These highly abrasion-resistant soles function optimally in temperatures ranging from –40°C to +40°C. Additionally, they offer full customisation in color, texture, and design, making them adaptable to various brand identities.

In Dragonfly shoes, the NexX4 soles work seamlessly with the tread design, providing players with optimal grip and stability. The strategic tread block design allows for quick sprints and rapid directional changes, while two large pivot points on the sole enhance turning efficiency and enable faster, more aggressive movements.

The midsole ensures comfort and energy return, while the shock-absorbing heel insert minimizes impact during movement. The support structure enhances stability for sudden starts, stops, and lateral shifts, making it ideal for high-intensity indoor sports.
