Fashion and lifestyle brand Juicy Couture, is collaborating with Recurate, a pioneer in circular economy technologies, to introduce its own peer-to-peer resale market.
Customers of Juicy Couture will be able to sell their pre-owned clothing and accessories on the brand's online store through the "Rejuiced" platform.
Users must provide their own product images, descriptions, and suggested prices to sell products on the platform. Juicy Couture will then authenticate and authorize these submissions before they can be seen on the resale page.
A prepaid shipping label will be provided to the seller after the item is sold, and after the buyer receives it, the seller will be compensated with store credit.
Natasha Fishman, chief commercial officer and executive vice president of marketing at Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), owner of the Juicy Couture brand, said that Juicy Couture is one of the most sought-after brands in thrift stores and second-hand marketplaces in their portfolio, which is a testament to its enduring connection to pop culture.
Juicy customers value circular fashion, therefore we are thrilled to work with Recurate's best-in-class platform to introduce resale to the Juicy universe.
Adam Siegel, co-founder, and chief executive at Recurate, said that they are excited to join with Juicy Couture on the debut of their pre-owned marketplace, Rejuiced. Juicy Couture is a well-known, high-end casual brand with a long history and a solid reputation for stylish products. Rejuiced's introduction gives the company a chance to increase the usefulness of its products while also giving its clients a simplified resale procedure.
