Jigsaw partners with My Wardrobe HQ to launch circular service

Contemporary British fashion brand, Jigsaw, has collaborated with the rental and resale site- My Wardrobe HQ to allow users to rent or subscribe to its collections while also selling their own pre-loved Jigsaw garments.

‘Jigsaw Forever’ is a fully circular rental, subscription, and resale business that represents the premium high street retailer’s goal to build a more sustainable future for fashion while encouraging customers to experiment with new shopping methods.

The British store will provide clients with flexible short-term rental choices starting at £6 per day, as well as a monthly subscription delivering a “dream rotating wardrobe” with access to ready-to-wear and accessories.

Subscribers will be able to plan two items at a time and two swaps per month for £59 per month, or four items at a time with four swaps per month for £79 per month.

Jigsaw is establishing a client resale program in addition to its rental business as part of its ambition to operate a genuinely circular model.

Before getting a pre-paid DPD shipping label to deliver their belongings to Jigsaw, customers must first complete an online questionnaire. Once the products have been evaluated and made available for rent or purchase, the brand will give a voucher redeemable at Jigsaw’s online store.

Jigsaw has stated that it plans to begin resale at a flagship shop in September 2022, where consumers will be able to physically hand in their pre-loved Jigsaw goods and be rewarded with a credit or voucher that can be used online or in-person towards their next Jigsaw purchase.

Jigsaw CEO, Beth Butterwick, said that over the next ten years, sustainability will surely revolutionize the fashion business. With the secondary market increasing 11 times faster than the primary market, it feels commercially prudent to pursue re-commerce; this is how people want to purchase.

My Wardrobe HQ’s CEO and co-founder, Sacha Newall, added that Jigsaw is one of the great British fashion businesses, with a history of being a pioneer in terms of customer service and sustainability. My Wardrobe HQ is honored to have been chosen as the project’s re-commerce partner. Textile waste is a big problem all around the world, and it signals a new age when a firm as well-known as Jigsaw chooses to address the issue fully on.

Jigsaw Forever is available online from July 18, with the opportunity to resell it at major Jigsaw stores beginning in September 2022. Mywardrobehq.com also offers rental and sales options.
