Jeanologia technologies to help jeans producers save water and reduce toxic discharge into environment

Jeanologia a Spanish consultant to the apparel industry, specialised in product and process research and development, and engineering solutions for garment production, owning 73% of the world’s laser production in the jeans wear sector is all set to display their latest contraptions at the Vietanmese Saigon Textile and Garment Industry Expo along with PPJ its technology partner from Vietnam.

Vietnamese textile is the main industry which contributes largely to its economy through exports of jeans and knit. Vietnam is emerging as a center of the world jeans production industry, because China, which had established itself as the largest manufacturer of jeans in the world, is rushing up with the relocation of production, making Vietnam one of the beneficiary of all this production.

Jeanologia has designed textile laser machine Flexi HS, which works on jeans, shorts, shirts, jackets and accessories and adapting to the needs of each manufacturer or designer. Flexi HS can operate in either automatic MD mannequin or fixed table. It has also integrated the latest electronic technology to increase marking speed, helping save power will be demonstrated at the exhibition.

According to Enrique Silla, President of Jeanologia, Vietnam needs to focus on quality production with better technology and efficiency apart from competitive work force.

At present, Vietnam to produce a jean using 100 liters of water and 300 grams of chemicals are used. With its sustainable technologies, not only reduce dangerous practices both for workers and toxic discharges into the environment but will help save at the same time million liters of water. With the company’s laser and ozone technologies, it can produce jean using only 30 liters of water and 150 grams of chemicals.

PPJ International is part of Vinatex Gorup, one of the leading groups in Asia for textiles and clothing manufacturing with more than 400 organizations from 65 countries, the 120 members that form Vinatex, represent the 9% of the textile and clothing industry in Vietnam and the 18% of its total exports.

The Saigon Textile & Garment Industry Expo, which will take place from April 10 to 13, 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City.
