Spanish textile technology company Jeanologia recently gathered denim producers from around the world for its NextGen Summit, focusing on key topics such as sustainability, regulations, digitalisation, and automation.
Held at Jeanologia’s headquarters in Valencia and other important textile centers in Spain, the summit aimed to inspire and prepare upcoming leaders in the denim sector, particularly those from family-owned businesses, to face future challenges with sustainable, tech-driven, and cooperative strategies.
The event offered a variety of sessions to promote learning and interaction. Attendees took part in motivational talks by experienced industry figures, who shared their insights on guiding the next generation. Workshops highlighted innovative ways to address industry challenges, while open discussions encouraged meaningful exchange of ideas across the sector.
Participants also had the chance to visit the headquarters of Spanish fashion brand Mango. Andrés Fernández, Mango’s head of sustainability and sourcing, shared the brand’s environmental goals, sparking engaging and informative discussions.
