INDO INTERTEX 2018 attracts strong participation of international pavilions

The Indonesia International Garment and Textile Machinery & Accessories Expo (INDO INTERTEX) 2018 is set to present its 16th edition at Jakarta International Expo, Indonesia, from 4-7 April 2018. Next year, the expo is illustrated by the new theme of “Investment, Development and Acceleration”

The 16th edition of Indo Intertex will continue to feature a strong line-up of global exhibitors, demonstrating an international profile which is bolstered by the involvement of several international pavilions from Germany, Italy, Korea, China, India and Taiwan. The pavilion returns with a range of brands specialized in technologies and solutions related to textile and garment industry for energy efficiency and sustainable technologies.

With numerous of innovative functions and energy efficient equipment continue to be in demand, INDO INTERTEX 2018 will present a high-end innovation feast integrating the textile and cross-boundary technology for buyers to preview the future technology and trend of the industry. The 2018 edition show will span over 25,000 square meters in 10 halls and are expected to attract upwards of 10,000 visitors across Indonesia and neighbor countries with opening hours from Wednesday-Friday: 10 am – 6 pm.

In order to bring more business opportunities to exhibitors and to enhance the interaction between industry players, the organizers of INDO INTERTEX + INATEX 2018 has launched a series of comprehensive promotions and invited key buyers, associations, and textile enterprises to visit. All the buyers are looking forward to the opening of INDO INTERTEX + INATEX 2018 and to participate in this grand textile industry event. More than 500 international brands from 23 countries are being demonstrated and these subjects play an important role at INDO INTERTEX + INATEX 2018.

INDO DYCHEM– One-stop single platform to showcase from home and abroad the latest developments and emerging technology for the Process Industry – Focusing on all kinds of Dyes and Fine & Specialty Chemicals for the Indonesian Industry.

All the exhibitions successfully complemented each other as they are mutually supported events in the textile and garment industry. Furthermore, this also represented the whole spectrum products for dyes and chem, digital and screen printing, nonwovens and functional fabrics as well as wide range of equipment, component parts, innovations and integrated products and services for the textile industry.

INDONESIA – Asia’s promising opportunity
Textile products in Indonesia’s international market is on the order of 10 to contribute 1,82 percent of total world exports and ranked fourth-largest country in terms of population. Our export performs under China, Europe, India, Turkey, Bangladesh, USA, Vietnam, Korea and Pakistan.

Indonesia is emerging as a major sourcing destination for new buyers. As a measure of growing interest in the Indonesian textile and clothing sector, buoyant retailers and brands across the world will look for options to increase their sourcing from Indonesian markets. Indonesian manufacturers are also proactively working towards enhancing their capacities to fulfill this increasing demand.

With its fast-growing economy (up to 5% last year, forecast to grow 5.3% in 2017) and favorable demographics, Indonesia’s economy has enormous promise. Already the 16th largest economy in the world and has the potential to be the 7th biggest by 2030, driven by the rising industrial expansion and investment.

It is a much more stable and diversified economy amongst Asian countries. In recent years, Indonesia has made huge strides in its macros-economic management.

Indonesia is a huge market both for textile and apparel; API (Indonesia Textile Association) estimates current consumption of textile is 7.2 kg/capita and will increase up to 8.0 kg/capita in 2020. It means more than 2,000 kiloton of textile to be consumed yearly. As the growing value for Textile and apparel sector will attract retailer and renowned brand to Indonesia.
