The 36th World Fashion Convention of the International Apparel Federation is shaping up, with H&M‘s supply chain chief among the speakers. The 36th World Fashion Convention of the International Apparel Federation (IAF) will be held concurrently with the 9th European Confederation of Apparel and Textiles (Euratex) Convention in Antwerp, Belgium, on November 7-9.
Under the subject “Transition of the Global Fashion System,” the IAF Convention will bring together senior apparel industry representatives from across the supply chain.
The H&M Group’s head of supply chain, David Sävmann, will talk, as will industry analyst John Thorbeck, who will provide a business case demonstrating the strong relationship between business process transformation and enhanced sustainability.

Keynote presentations will include a global retailer’s objectives for collaboration with its suppliers and an overview of global apparel business trends.
