Hyosung is set to unveil its latest sustainable and performance-driven textile innovations at Performance Days Munich from March 5-6, 2025. The company will showcase its Creora functional and regen sustainable elastane, nylon, and polyester at booth L17.

“Sustainable strategies vary widely among brands—whether it’s recycled, bio-based, or recyclable—so it’s important to provide tailored solutions,” said Claire O’Neill, Hyosung TNC’s Director of European Brand Marketing.

Hyosung has expanded its regen BIO Elastane range with regen BIO+ and regen BIO Max, which offer higher renewable resource content. As a pioneer in bio-based elastane, the company launched the first commercially available USDA and SGS-certified regen Bio-Based Elastane, containing 30% renewable resources. Leading global brands such as Pangaia, Icebreaker, Silver Sea Apparel, and Van Harvey have already adopted this innovative material.

To address growing consumer demand for sustainable apparel with performance benefits, Hyosung has integrated multi-functional properties into its 100% recycled elastane, nylon, and polyester fibres. These advanced materials provide cooling, warming, and anti-odour properties while maintaining a natural touch.

The company will also showcase its GRS-certified, 100% post-consumer recycled regen Ocean Nylon, made from discarded fishing nets, further reinforcing its commitment to ocean conservation and circularity.

Advancing its circular economy efforts, Hyosung has partnered with Ambercycle, a leader in material science, to introduce circular polyester made from end-of-life textiles into supply chains.

To demonstrate the potential of its innovative yarns, Hyosung’s Fashion Design Center has developed an extensive collection of fabrics and concept garments, which will be prominently displayed at its Performance Days booth.
