H&V launches PFAS-free brand for nonwovens

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2024-08-08 16:10:59 – USA

Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V), a leader in advanced materials headquartered in East Walpole, Massachusetts, has introduced PlusZero, a new brand name for its extensive portfolio of nonwovens. The PlusZero line includes a wide range of products such as filter media and battery separators, all manufactured without the use of per- or polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), which are commonly known as ‘forever chemicals.’

"The PlusZero line is not only environmentally sound, but offers high-quality solutions that will help customers meet performance, reliability, and affordability goals," said Mike Clark, H&V’s division president. The products in the PlusZero line are the result of years of research and development aimed at eliminating PFAS while maintaining the high performance and cost-effectiveness expected by H&V's customers.

PlusZero solutions are designed to perform just as effectively as their legacy counterparts in most applications, offering a smart choice for businesses seeking to meet environmental standards without compromising on quality or cost. This launch underscores H&V's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the nonwovens industry.
