Hologenix unveils breakthrough CELLIANT print technology

Hologenix, a leader in materials science, aims to make infrared health and wellness benefits accessible to more people. Their flagship product, CELLIANT® infrared (IR) technology, consisting of natural bioceramic minerals, is now available as a printed coating. This expansion enhances the technology’s uses and widens potential partnerships. Recently, it earned recognition in the Fibers & Insulations Category of the ISPO Textrends Awards.

Traditionally, CELLIANT was integrated directly into fibers and yarns. Now, for print applications, CELLIANT fine mineral powder can be easily applied to the surface of various fabric types. This development excites the company as it broadens the sustainable options CELLIANT can be part of, encouraging partnerships with brands to print CELLIANT on eco-friendly fabrics. CELLIANT Print offers a cost-effective alternative to in-yarn solutions and streamlines the supply chain.

Similar to screen printing, CELLIANT Print can be applied to a partner’s existing preferred fabrics or new fabric for diverse product applications. Brands seeking smaller pattern rollers for apparel or orthopedic products can benefit, and larger rollers are available for bedding and larger-scale projects. As long as the print covers 80% of the fabric’s surface, the design possibilities are extensive.

CELLIANT Print undergoes mechanical testing for wash durability, lasting for 50+ washes, making it suitable for long-term use. This approach allows brand partners to use CELLIANT with a higher loading of bioceramic minerals, making it ideal for recovery and performance purposes. Notably, CELLIANT Print has already found success in applications like kinesiology tape, such as KT Tape® PRO Oxygen™, launched in April.
