Swedish fashion giant, the H&M Group, has announced the extension of its online second-hand platform Sellpy to additional 20 European nations.
It’s the next step in Sellpy’s quick expansion, which saw the company venture into Austria and the Netherlands early this year after starting in Sweden in 2014 and Germany last summer.
The expansion, as and when it happens, will increase the company’s number of markets to 24. Sellpy is now also available in Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Romania, and Slovakia.
The initiative demonstrates H&M and Sellpy’s commitment to improving sustainable fashion once again.

H&M Group and Sellpy launched strategic cooperation in 2015 through H&M CO: LAB, the company’s investment arm, with the goal of empowering customers to live more circularly and keep fashion in use for as long as feasible.
Head of H&M CO:LAB, Nanna Andersen, said they’re looking forward to Sellpy’s future worldwide development, which they support through their strategic collaboration and ownership. They strive to offer value to their portfolio companies in order to help them achieve their goals.
Sellpy will partner with H&M Group’s worldwide supply chain via access to a contemporary storage facility in Pozna, Poland, to satisfy the growing demand from its European consumers. The Logistics Region East Europe team, which is part of the H&M Group’s global supply chain, will manage all procedures linked to Sellpy’s circular services.
Sellpy collects items from sellers’ houses, pictures them, and then sells them on the internet. Around 70% of Sellpy is owned by H&M.
