Swedish multinational clothing retail company, H&M has launched its latest designer collaboration with Brock Collection, a Los Angeles-based womenswear label created by Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock.
The collection includes classic Brock Collection pieces such as a “softly romantic yet city-ready” range of dresses, tops, blouses, denim shorts and denim jeans, plus jewellery, handbags, shoes, and sunglasses.
The latest collection is described by H&M as a “romantic yet sophisticated” womenswear collection that focuses on “approachable richness blended with streetwise comfort”, featuring tie-up shoulder straps, country florals, and corset-like details.
Organic linen, organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and Tencel Lyocell are among the sustainable materials used in the collection of dresses, separates, denim, and accessories.
Head of design at H&M, Maria Östblom, said they’re thrilled to be working with Brock Collection, who are recognized for their high-end workmanship, impeccable fits, and structures. But there’s also beauty in the fact that their designs always feel down-to-earth, thoughtful, and easy to wear. She believes this is the secret to their success.
She added they aim to promote romance and make it more accessible to the general public. By using more sustainable materials, they want to build collaboration that their clients all around the world will enjoy.
Designers and co-founders of Brock Collection, Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock, added Brock Collection has always been about weaving together the threads of uptown sophistication and down-to-earth comfort, which they are thrilled to introduce to a new audience. Each piece in the collection is unique and has a romantic appeal, but it is very wearable.
